About

About Page Photo.jpg

As a licensed psychologist, I provide individual therapy to adults, ages eighteen and older.

I work with a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship stressors, difficulties with life transitions, self-esteem and identity issues, and trauma. I aim to provide research supported treatment approaches through open, nonjudgmental discussion. My style is warm and sincere, with some occasional humor mixed in. I integrate evidence-based treatment approaches, such as cognitive behavioral therapy and interpersonal therapy, to tailor our work to your specific needs and goals.

I earned my doctorate in clinical psychology from The George Washington University in 2010, and have been licensed in New York State since 2011. I have over 10 years of clinical experience working in various outpatient settings including community medical and mental health centers, college counseling centers, and schools. My career has been guided by the belief that high-quality mental health care should be accessible to all. This belief led me to work in historically under-served communities within Washington, DC, Queens, NY, and Harlem, NY for much of my career. Since going into private practice in 2017, it has been important to me to continue this accessibility by working with insurance companies as an in-network provider.
